The American Cancer Society and the residents of the Jurupa Valley are having the 4th Annual RelayForLife on May 16, 2009 at the Jurupa Valley High School. Relay For Life is a 254 hour event for the purpose of raising awareness about cancer and the many programs that are available through the American Cancer Society. One in two men and One in three women will be diagnosed with cancer. We need to let people know that by taking a proactive approach, living a healthy life, eating the right foods and becoming award of changes in your body, that you can prevent cancer. For those of us that have survived cancer, the relay is an event where we can go to celebrate our victory, remember loved ones that lost their battle and make a commitment to FIGHT BACK. Cancer never sleeps and we won't either, at least not for 24 hours. Come and join our Relay. To find out more call me at (951) 271-0521 or log on to our website at www.relayforlife.org/rubidouxca.
